Foodbank NSW & ACT partnered with the ALAND Foundation for their first Giving Day, aiming to create 10,000 nutritious hampers for families in crisis at Christmas. Donations were matched dollar for dollar by the ALAND Foundation. The result- target was hit by 10:30 am, raised twice by mid-afternoon, and finished at 19,447 hampers funded with $739,019 donated- circulated by social buzz throughout the day
